Liposuction

Following a healthy diet and regular exercise routine are the best methods of losing weight, however, many people can't get rid of fat in problem areas. These areas can include the legs, hips, buttocks, stomach, chin, neck, arms, and ankles. The surgical procedure targets only the problem areas, leaving your body more sculpted and toned.

The procedure begins with a small incision in the area where fat is to be removed. Next, a small tube is placed in the incision, and fat cells, pockets, and tissues are suctioned out and discarded. Generally, the operation is performed at our facilities on an outpatient basis under anesthesia and can last two or more hours. Common side effects of the procedure include numbness, soreness, temporary bruising, and burning sensations, but most of these effects will diminish within a few days' or weeks' time. Once the area has healed, the patient should notice a firmer, tighter physique.

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

Some people find it impossible to lose the excess fat and skin around the midsection, even after dozens of crunches and abdominal exercises a day. Fortunately, there is a solution. The operation is also known as a "tummy tuck,"and is a treatment designed to give you sleeker, more defined abs.

The procedure begins with the creation of a skin flap through an incision made from one hip to the other. Next, the skin is separated from the abdominal muscles and tightened, narrowing the waistline and flattening the midsection. The flap of skin is then folded down and excess skin removed. Finally, the flap is replaced and the incision is stitched closed. Depending on how much work is needed, the entire procedure takes between two and five hours. Bruising and swelling (which typically subside within 10 days) are the most typical side effects.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyes and eyelids that look droopy and puffy can make you appear tired or older than you are. Eyelid surgery, can drastically reduce the signs of aging by restoring the skin around your eyes to its natural, youthful appearance. It can even improve vision impaired by sagging lids.

During the procedure excess fat, muscle, and skin are then trimmed away from the lid through an incision made along the eyelid. This outpatient procedure typically takes one to three hours and is performed under anesthesia. The procedure is considered to be permanent in many cases, although it will not prevent natural aging. Side effects such as swelling, bruising, dry eyes, and sensitivity to light may occur after the surgery, but will fade within 10 days.

Face Lift

Weight fluctuation, sun exposure, and the natural aging process make skin loosen and sag, causing wrinkles and jowls. Neck muscles can also slacken, causing you to look significantly older than you are. This is a surgical procedure that can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, rejuvenating the skin and restoring youth. Fresh, taut skin can make you look decades younger!

The doctor begins with incisions along the hairline, by the ear, on the chin, or along the earlobe, allowing excess skin to be lifted and removed. The remaining skin is then smoothened, tightened, and secured with sutures or small metal clips. The procedure may take up to three hours, depending on the condition of your skin and your desired results. Side effects may include numbness, bruising, swelling, and tightness, but the majority of patients report little pain and only minor discomfort.

Forehead Lift

Creases above the nose and horizontal lines on the brow can make you look sad, angry, tired, or older than you truly are. These wrinkles are intensified by heredity, sun exposure, and weight gain or loss. This procedure can make the you look years younger by tightening and lifting the skin, eliminating wrinkles and expression lines. The end result is a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

During the procedure- a treatment generally performed on younger patients who are just developing brow wrinkles - an endoscope is inserted below the skin. The skin and underlying muscles are then lifted and tightened, and the brow heals in the new position. Both the methods are often combined with other cosmetic procedures, including face lift, collagen, and BOTOX® injections, or eyelid surgery.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping)

Changing the shape or size of your nose may be the operation you have been considering for a long time. Nose Reshaping can adjust the size of the nose, making it larger or smaller, and can alter the shape of the bridge, tip, or nostrils. Nose Reshaping can also correct injuries, crookedness, and breathing problems related to the internal structures of the nose. The results of the reshaping can improve the balance and proportions of your appearance, increasing your confidence and quality of life.

The doctor makes incisions along the rims of the nostrils. By placing the incisions inconspicuously, there should be virtually no visible scarring. If the nose is made smaller, cartilage is carefully fractured and reset. If a bump is being removed, the excess cartilage is scraped away. Depending on the individual, it takes one to two hours to complete, and complete recovery takes up to a month.
